Nine years behind bars and on the floor in Madison, most of it at places that lived or died on whether regulars came back. That job teaches you one thing about promotions: the loud ones bring people in once, and the fair ones bring them in again. Everything I write here comes out of that.

So I open the accounts with my own money, play the offer down, and try to get it back out — and I time that last bit, because it is the only part where a site's promises get tested. Then I write down what happened, including when it went badly, and I say plainly when something is wrong for someone.

What I Look At Before I Accept Anything

Two numbers, and neither of them is the percentage. The turnover multiple — how many times the balance has to go round before any of it becomes money. And **what that multiple applies to**, because 30x on the bonus alone and 30x on your deposit plus the bonus are completely different evenings and both get printed as "30x".

Multiply it out before you click accept. If the total is more than you were planning to stake tonight anyway, the offer is not aimed at you, and taking it will change how you play in a direction you did not pick. That is the whole trick, and it is not a secret — it is just written in a place nobody looks.

If the site will not tell me those two numbers somewhere findable, that goes in the write-up. An offer you cannot do the maths on is not an offer, it is a hook.

How I Run an Account

Sign up cold, like anybody would, with no affiliate introduction — if registration is a mess for a normal punter then that is worth knowing rather than something to route around. Fund it with my own money, crypto and a conventional method where the site takes one, so I can say something about both.

Then take whatever the cashier actually puts in front of a logged-in new player, which is not always what the marketing page promised. Play it down at stakes I would genuinely choose on a normal night, because the question is whether an ordinary person finishes this, not whether I can if I really commit. Then ask for the money back, and time it from the request to it landing, document check included.

Where the balance allows, I do the withdrawal twice. One fast payout can be luck. Two is how they actually operate.

What I Will Not Do
